Love

A poison so pure
It kills a man fast
Yet so many seek it
without knowing its past
For it killed a man named Romeo
and his maiden Juliet
such a lethal drug
with a deadliness not yet met
I sought it once
this poison, unseen
It is given to me bow and I say:
merci pour le venin

The Phych Ward, Her story

She screams from her bed
and pulls on the chain
they say She's crazy
She knows She's sane
The Nurse comes in
to calm Her down
Her arms bleed
on the hospital gown
The Voices tell Her
to resist their force
Pulling on Her restraints
She screams 'till She's hoarse
Ashamed parents
look down at their Child
The chains are cutting Her skin
For Her thrashing is wild
"Sleep. darling, sleep"
She hears the Voices say
She sleeps and dreams of when
the Voices and She could laugh and play
The drugs kick in
For the Child is asleep
Out of the room
Silently, they creep
The Voices shake Her awake
In the bed unrestrained
She explores her cruel new world
For She is unchained
The Voices tell Her to run
When She sees the Nurse
racing toward her
the Girl runs and shouts a curse
The Nurse then pulls
the Girl onto the bed
She chains Her up
and fled
Screaming again
She is gagged
they pull Her away
to the Phych Ward She is dragged
Restrained again
She cannot fight
to tired to try
for she is bound tight
